I am recruiting for a Care Manager to join my client who is an established charity in North London.
The appointed Care Manager will be rewarded with a good basic salary, 3% company pension match and fantastic opportunities to progress in the future.
My client have been established for around 6 or so years and provide a variety of services to children and young people with learning disabilities and complex needs in and around London.
*A Full UK Driving License with access to a car is essential
Your main duties as Care Manager will be to take responsibility for the existing services operated by the charity and identify areas to develop and introduce new ideas to the business.
The services provided are very specific to the needs of the children and are tailored to support those with learning disabilities and severe complex needs so this needs to be at the forefront of every decision.
Other duties will include;
- Staff management
- Recruitment and training
- Regularly liaise with and build relationships with families, local authorities and other external professionals i.e. social workers
- Provide consistent support to staff members and other managers
This is a very niche role so I would be interested to speak to people with a background of working within children’s residential care/OFSTED regulated services ideally at a Deputy or Manager level.
– NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care, as minimum
– Excellent written and oral communication skills
– Team player with natural leadership skills
