Care Worker/Support Workers
Location – York
Full time and Part time Contracts
NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care – weekday rates £7.40 to £10.13ph
NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care – weekday rates £7.30 to £9.98ph
No Social Care qualifications – weekday rates £7.35ph to £9.53ph
Special care rates also apply which are paid at £9.13ph on weekdays and £9.58ph on weekends
A competitive TAX FREE rate of 42p per mile will be paid;
– After the first 6 miles, from home to first care call
– After the first 6 miles, from last care call to home
– All travel between care calls
On top of the excellent salary enhancements and generous mileage payments you will also be entitled to 5.6 weeks PAID annual holiday, full paid in house training with expenses, uniform, smart phone and excellent opportunities to progress in the future.
Experience is not essential as full training will be provided.
As a Care Worker/Support Worker you will be joining a highly reputable home care company who provide high quality care services to vulnerable people in their own home. Duties will include;
– To assist the client with daily living activities, such as washing, dressing, feeding
– Maintaining the dignity of the client at all times
– General domestic and household duties as required
– Maintaining a safe environment at all times and reporting any concerns
As a Care worker/Support Worker you will be of a caring nature with a real passion for ensuring quality care is delivered to your service users.
Ideally you will have some understanding of Domiciliary Care and be able to work on your own initiative.
*A Full UK Driving License with full access to a vehicle is ESSENTIAL to be considered for this role*
A flexible approach towards working hours is required as you will be required to work. Some weekend an evening work will be required on a rota basis.
For the successful candidate, cost of the DBS will be covered.
