Care Worker

Homecare and Community support services organisation

Salary: £6.60 per hour minimum depending on experience

Location: Dover

We are currently recruiting for experienced care workers to join an established team based in East Kent.

The position:

The role involves providing community based care and support to a service users with varying needs including learning disabilities, mental health, dementia and acquired brain injuries.

There are many duties involved in the role of Care Worker including:

Provision of personal care

Provision of domestic duties

Administering medication

Offering support, advice and guidance

Assisting with cooking and socialising

The person:

The successful candidate will be an experienced care worker, ideally with experience gained within the community. You will have experience of working with older and vulnerable adults and be able to work unsupervised. You will be a caring, flexible person who wants to make a difference and positive contribution to people’s lives. Ideally you will be a car driver although this is not essential. The hours will be on a rota basis and will include some evening and weekend working.
