As a result of recent expansion a leading construction company, who specialise in building care homes, seeks to recruit a Construction Manager to manage projects across Yorkshire.
The Construction Manager will be overseeing operations in the pre-construction and construction phases of a range of projects and will report to the managing director.
Ultimately responsible for the overall running of the programme, you will be tasked with day to day management of site managers, project coordinators, groundworks teams and mechanical and electrical contract managers.
You will also be responsible for a number of key external relationships including subcontractors, consultant, architects, clerks and surveyors.
Your overall objective is to ensure everything and everyone stays on track and ultimately each project comes in upon time and under budget
The successful candidate for the construction manager role will have experience in senior management role from within the construction sector. It would help if this is from within the care / health / medical sector although this is not essential.
Experience of Microsoft project is crucial though and you will ideally have knowledge of groundworks, site management and mechanical and electrical installation too.
An established large construction contractor with over 25 years’ experience building homes for the care sector – they are part of a larger group of companies and work across Yorkshire and the North of England.
