Position: Contract IT Project Manager – Network Infrastructure
Duration: November 2016 to April 2017
Daily Rate: £400 to £415
We are looking for an experienced Contract IT Project Manager with a proven track record in delivering network infrastructure and integration projects to manage a significant project to deliver free WiFi and media content to their fleet of trains, depots and stations.
The current Technical Project Manager for the Connected Train project will be moving on during a critical phase of the Programme. The successful candidate will be required to pick up existing project plans, validate and refine where necessary to quickly gain control of the technology work streams within the programme.
Working as workstream lead, supported by a Solutions Architect and Integration Manager you will be responsible for the IT technical deliverables:
- Station WiFi modifications
- WAN additions and modifications
- Depot Wifi installation
- Train to station WiFi connectivity
- On-train infrastructure
System Integration of end to end supply chain
- On-train WiFi
- Media Portal
- MNO supply
- WAN & AAA
You will be an experienced Prince 2 accredited project manager who has a strong track record in Network Infrastructure projects encompassing WiFi/LAN/WAN.
You will be experienced in IT infrastructure change and will be used to leading multi-agency, multi technology projects.
Interviews will take place week commencing the 7th of November and the contract will start on Monday the 14th of November and will last until April 2017.
