Position: Contract Test Lead
Location: Birmingham, West Midlands
Salary: £400 to £500 per day
Duration: 3 Months with strong possibility of extension
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Test Lead to join an International FTSE 250 company based in South Birmingham.
You will be responsible for providing high quality Test Supervision, Direction and Coordination to ensure the quality of all project systems and deliverables meet the agreed requirements and quality.
This Hands-On Role will be a mix of Test Management and Planning, Test Team Supervision, Test Case and Script definition, Test Execution, Defect Management and Business, 3rd Party and Environment Coordination and may use both Agile and Waterfall life cycles.
You will perform Risk Assessments and produce test documentation such as Acceptance Criteria, Test Estimates, Test Plans, Test Cases and Test Scripts which will define the scope, resources, environments and data needed for the testing.
You will supervise test resources, review Test Reports from 3rd Parties and produce Test Reports.
The majority of the testing will be manual and include web/browser and mobile device testing and include Card Payment Systems so we would expect you to have experience in these areas.
Key Experience Required
You will have at least ten years of commercial structured testing experience with some knowledge of the card payment sectors and ideally mobile platforms.
You will have at least 5 years experience as a Test Manager or Test Team Lead (with supervision of team members) and have experience of the full Project Life-Cycle.
You are a good communicator and able to make presentations to Business stake holders and produce reports and documentation that clearly communicates the current status of test activities.
You will be able to champion Testing and Quality Assurance within the Project and the Business.
You will be expected to take part in project meetings and lead testing meetings.
You will be of Graduate caliber with at least foundation level ISEB accreditation.
The contract will be for three months initially with the strong possibility of this being extended.
The contract will start at the beginning of July.
