Day Care Manager
Salary £18700 to £20k
Based in Scarborough
Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm (flexible on working 4 or 5 days)
An exciting new role has been generated for an independent day care centre located in Scarborough.
This new position will involve you looking after the day to day running of a day care centre for the elderly, ensuring high standards are care are met at all times.
* Responsible for the health and safety of staff and visitors
* Ensuring high standards of housekeeping, maintenance and the security of the building
* To coordinate the inductions and training of all staff
* To complete assessment of care plans
* Liaising with local authority professionals
* Medication management and general administration
The successful person for this role must have a passion for working within the health and social care sector as well as having strong leadership skills. You will need to have 3 years’ experience dealing with the elderly or dementia. As the Day Care Manager you must have NVQ Level 3 in health and social care. Experience of working in a day centre background is an advantage however it is not essential. This role would also suit a deputy that wants to take that next step.

25 days holiday plus bank holidays
