We are currently recruiting for a well-established client who currently has an excellent opportunity available to work as a Deputy Manager at one of their homes in the Northumberland area.
The 20 bedded home provides care for adults with Learning Disabilities, Mental Health issues and acquired brain injuries. The lovely home is set in fantastic grounds providing large gardens for service users to enjoy.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
–Taking full responsibility of running the service in the Home Managers absence.
–Ensuring that the company’s policies and procedures are fully and consistently implemented.
–Assisting the Home Manager in the recruiting and training of staff in order to develop the workforce to meet requirements.
–Ensuring that care plans are being effectively communicated to care workers and that workers understand their responsibilities and duties.
–Taking effective action to address areas of dissatisfaction or poor performance.
–Must have experience in a senior role within a care setting.
–Will ideally have had experience of working with adults with Learning Disabilities and Mental Heal issues.
–Must show leadership potential and be patient and personable.
–A Full UK Driving License and access to a vehicle is essential for this position
