We are currently recruiting for a client who is looking for a Deputy Manager to join their well-established Residential Home in West London.
Along with the competitive basic salary that is on offer you will be well supported within your role and there is potential for progression.
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
–Taking full responsibility of running the service in the Registered Managers absence.
–Ensuring that the company’s policies and procedures are fully and consistently implemented.
–Assisting the Registered Manager in the recruiting and training of staff in order to develop the workforce to meet requirements.
–Ensuring that care plans are being effectively communicated to care workers and that workers understand their responsibilities and duties.
–Taking effective action to address areas of dissatisfaction or poor performance.
– Must have knowledge of management practice.
–Must have at least one year of experience of working with patients with learning disabilities.
–Must show leadership potential and be patient and personable.
–Will be willing to incorporate activities for service users to create an enjoyable care environment.
–A Full UK Driving License and access to a vehicle is essential for this position
