We’re looking for a talented Deputy Manager to work for our client.

They want to recruit someone with demonstrable experience of working in a management role within the care sector.

Please note: In this position you’ll be needed to work some weekends and occasionally cover on-call in unsociable hours. Full details of how this will work will be revealed at interview.

The Role:
As the Deputy Manager you’ll report to the Registered Manager and will be primarily responsible for managing the 30 bedded elderly care home.

In the job you’ll be tasked with the following:
– Ensuring care plans are up-to-date
– Carrying out supervisions
– Liaising with medical professionals and familiies
– Leading the shift

The standard working hours for this position are Monday to Friday 9:00 to 5:00 + on call one weekend in two.

The Candidate:
The ideal candidate for this Deputy Manager role will have relevant experience of working in a leadership role within the care sector.

You’ll also need experience of supervising a team of carers effectively as well as ensuring safeguarding and CQC compliance.

In addition, you’ll need a NVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care.

The ideal person for the role will be the following:
– Organised
– Able to motivate people
– Someone with a good eye for detail

Basic salary: Up to £21,000 per annum
Overtime: You’ll also have the opportunity to earn overtime in this role
