My client, based in Basingstoke, is looking for a Deputy Manager to join their passionate and dedicated residential home that supports people with learning disabilities to live as independently as possible. Salary up to £28K dependent on experience.

The role will be to support the Registered Manager with the day to day running of the small home. Due to further career progression opportunities, the current Registered Manager will be moving onto another project, so they are looking for an eager Deputy to train up to take over Registration within a 12-month period.
This is a great opportunity for someone eager to work their way up within the learning disability sector.

The Role:
As the Deputy Manager you will:

  • Be responsible in organising the rotas.
  • Plan, direct, follow and deliver high-quality person-centred care.
  • Ensure the service and its resources are managed effectively, economically, and efficiently.
  • Nurture and mentor the dedicated staff team.
  • Complete staff supervision and management.
  • Provide person centered care.

The Person:
To be considered for the Deputy Manager role, you will need:

  • Experience as a Team Leader within a learning disability service as minimum
  • NVQ / QCF level 3 Health and Social Care and willingness to complete the level 5
  • Clear communication skills
