Due to growth, our client is seeking a Deputy Children’s Home Manager to be part of setting up a new residential children’s home in the Stourbridge area.
The role is for a Deputy Children’s Home Manager to be part of a new team and assist the Registered Manager to set up a new two bedded children’s home for children with attachment disorders, emotional and behavioural difficult and/or victims or vulnerability of child exploitation.
In the role, the Deputy Children’s Home Manager will be responsible to ensure that each young person in the home has a formally developed care plan and take leadership in staff meetings as well as working direct with the young people in their care.
The successful candidate for the Deputy Children’s Home Manager role will:
- Have experience of working in a residential care setting with children/ young people.
- Have experience of working at a senior level.
- Have a level 3 NVQ in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
- Child focused and able to work well with children with emotional and behavioural difficulties.
- Hold a full UK driving licence.

- Salary: £17,500-21,000
