My client is currently looking for a Deputy Manager / Clinical lead for their nursing home in north Staffordshire. You’ll need to be a Registered Nurse (either RMN or RNLD) and have experience of working with clients with Mental Health Conditions. They can offer you an attractive salary and excellent progression prospects; if you’re looking to step up to Management within the next couple of years this is the post for you.

The Role
The home supports individuals with Mental Health conditions such as Bi-polar, Schizophrenia, Anxiety and depression, ABI, Korsakoffs or a Learning Disability. The aim is rehabilitation and for clients to be able to move on to step down units or supported living.

You’ll supervise and lead a staff team who support the individuals living within the home to develop their skills and achieve their goals and aspirations during their recovery.

As a Deputy Manager / Clinical Lead you’ll support the Registered Manager with the day to day running of the home and your key responsibilities will be;

– Supervising and managing care staff and nursing staff
– Conducting audits,
– Ensuring that CQC standards are being met
– Manage the home in the absence of the Manager
– Ensure clinical excellence throughout the home

The Candidate

You must be a Registered Nurse – either RMN or RNLD (not RGN) and have experience ideally gained within a Nursing Home environment

Ideally we are looking for somebody with Deputy Manager / Clinical lead experience but we may also consider applicants that have worked as a senior nurse.

You’ll be keen to develop and progress within an organisation and be happy to undertake further training and qualifications
