Deputy Service Manager
Learning Disabilities – Residential
Salary: £19,500 to £21,500 + £1,051 Geographical allowance
Location: Didcot, Oxford
We are currently recruiting a Deputy Service Manager, based at a small provision in Didcot, specialising in care for a service users with Learning Disabilities.
This is a challenging position where you will be working alongside a small staff team who deliver specialist care for service users with Learning Disabilities. The service itself is based in Didcot and has a fantastic care team in place; there are no initial concerns with the service, but they do require someone who has worked within a similar setting.
Working alongside the support team you will ensure that:
- The delivery of care is in line with the minimum standards set by CQC
- Staff supervisions & appraisals are regularly undertaken
- Referrals are managed successfully
- Staff rotas completed on a weekly basis
- Deliver hands on care where required
Qualified with a minimum NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social care, the right person will come from a similar setting, working within a Learning Disability residential background. They will also have some experience working within a senior capacity overseeing a support team within the mental health arena.
