As a result of recent expansion, a leading National speculative housebuilder seeks to recruit a Development Engineer to cover sites across Cheshire

The Role
Your role as a Development Engineer sees you working within an established technical department.

The Development Engineer will be responsible for up to 6 housebuilding sites across Cheshire.

You will be responsible for the management of on-site demolition, engineering, remediation and infrastructure works of speculative private housing developments.

You will manage and ensure works are undertaken in accordance with approved drawings and identify any issues before they are constructed on site.

You will check works on site and inspect and meet with local authorities and water companies to confirm construction compliance.

You will ensure health and safety is adhered to and implement any drawing amendments.

You will ensure cost effective ground works and foundation solutions and road sewer adoptions as well as any customer care issues are resolved.

Working in an existing team you will be based from Stockport and have the opportunity to grow within the team.

The Candidate
The successful candidate will have experience in a technical engineering role from within the Housebuilding sector.

You must have experience working for a residential developer with housebuilding Plc experience.

You will have a civil engineering degree or building qualification and professional membership is preferred but not essential.
