Dispatch Supervisor – Bakery
North London
23k-26K per annum

Our client is a well-established Family run bakery and due to steady growth they are currently looking for a Dispatch Supervisor.

The Role
Working as part of the operations team you will oversee the production process paying particular attention to the final stages of picking and packing the product ready for despatch.

This will include supervision of process operatives and taking charge of the weighing, testing and sealing process as well as ensuring the relevant paperwork is completed.

The Candidate
The ideal candidate will have experience if a manufacturing environment and be comfortable with work of a physical nature. It would advantageous if you had worked within the food sector too.

Whilst training will be given you will need to be able to demonstrate some supervisory experience.

Additionally you will be well organised with a good eye for detail and both enthusiastic and self-motivated. The ability to work with people from a diverse range of backgrounds and having basic numeracy & literacy skills are a prerequisite.

The Company:
Based in London, our client is a family run Italian bakery and they produce the very finest focaccia, ciabatta and Panini breads. They supply the leading airlines, sandwich manufacturers and food service retailers with their bread.

The role may be suitable if you have a background as a Dispatch Supervisor or warehouse supervisor.

It is likely candidates will be commutable to Wembley, Harrow, and Brentford.
