Divisional Director (Social Care)
Leading Supported Living Provider
Salary: circa £50,000 + excellent enhancements
Location: South East – Kent and East Sussex
I am working with a very valued client who is recruiting for a Divisional Director who will be responsible for covering services across the Kent and East Sussex area.
The successful candidate will be rewarded with an excellent basic salary, enhancements for being ‘on call’, competitive holiday allowance, childcare vouchers, contributory pension scheme and additional uplifts for weekend and bank holiday working.
My client is a well-established company who provide supported living services to adults who have learning disabilities and/or autism.
I am looking for a Divisional Director who can manage and develop services across a designated geographical area.
As Divisional Director there are various tasks that are incorporated into this position including;
– Take the lead on building relationships with commissioners and other external stakeholders
– Work to, and manage, agreed budgets
– Contribute to the strategic development of the service
– Provide ‘on call’ support when needed
– Review procedures and identify areas for improvement
– Ensure continuous communication
You will need to hold a Management or Graduate level Qualification, or equivalent, and a recognised housing qualification would be desirable. Someone who has experience of working within supported living provisions for people with learning disabilities would be a distinct advantage.
*A Full UK Driving License with access to a vehicle is ESSENTIAL for this position as travel to multiple sites across Kent and East Sussex will be required on a regular basis.
