I am currently looking for an experienced Domiciliary Care Manager who is passionate about providing a high quality care service. You’ll be responsible for ensuring that a safe, effective care provision is delivered, whilst working with the Regional Manager to grow the business. The Salary for this post is £25,000 – £28,000 and the office is located close to St Helens.

The Role

  • You’ll be responsible for the day to day running of a domiciliary care agency
  • Management of all office staff
  • Appraisals, supervisions and disciplinary procedures
  • Ensuring that CQC standards are being adhered to
  • Ensuring that the rota is covered
  • Dealing with any issues
  • Ensuring that the on-call is properly covered
  • Liaising with Social Workers and health care professionals
  • Working with the Regional Manager to grow the business
  • Ensuring contract compliance for Local Authority contracts

The Successful Candidate

Ideally you’ll have experience of managing a Domiciliary Care Agency previously and be able to demonstrate the knowledge and ability to ensure that CQC standards are being achieved

We may consider candidates with a supported living background however you will need to have managed large numbers of staff

You’ll be flexible and have a can-do attitude

You’ll be able to present yourself well and confidently when dealing with Local Authorities and Commissioners and be a good communicator
