The Role
Reporting to the General Manager, you would be part of a team of engineers responsible for maintaining and developing the manufacturing plant and equipment using both electrical and mechanical engineering disciplines. Work will include…

o Diagnosis of plant/equipment defects, develop solutions
o R & D projects to develop improved manufacturing plant and re-engineering.
o Hands on fabrication/assembly of equipment
o Actively contribute to a culture of continuous improvement across the site

The Candidate
o Strong mechanical and electrical engineering experience
o Experienced with refractory materials and high temperature environment
o Full range of electrical and mechanical engineering skills, fabrication, design, pneumatics, hydraulics, PLC control.
o High level of CAD/CAM competency, familiar with drafting procedures
o Thryristor control of transformers
o Analytical with strong technical fault-finding ability
o Excellent prioritisation and project development skills
o Resourceful with high attention to detail
