This leading national housebuilder has an opening for an Engineer. Reporting directly to the Technical Manager, they will undertake the technical function on all technical, engineering aspects for housing projects.

The Role:

As an Engineer, you will work on all engineering aspects from land acquisition through to site completions and final adoptions.
You will procure site investigations, surveys and services information to assist the design process.
You will ensure best value is observed in procuring site service contracts.
You will oversee design and detailing provided by consulting engineers, and produce designs for new roads and sewers including, section 38,104 and S278 agreements.
You will secure adoption agreements to suit the development programme and brief at pre-start stage. Following this you will ensure the adoption process is followed.

The Engineer will also liaise with planners and building control bodies in regards to building regulations and planning conditions.

The Candidate:
In order to be considered for this exciting role you must have experience of engineering within a housebuilding environment.

It would be advantageous if you have worked within technical services and understand how these services impact on site acquisition and development.

You will have either a degree or HNC/HND in a construction engineering subject with relevant experience.

Established in 1958 they are a national housebuilder with projects UK Wide. Part of a network of 25 house-building divisions they sell open market new build properties under three different well-known established brands.
