As a result of recent expansion, a civil engineering concrete repairs contractor seeks to recruit an Estimator help manage significant growth.

The Role
Your role as an Estimator will see you working in Mitcham, London and your day to day duties to include:

-Reporting to the Senior Estimating Manager
-Estimating projects ranging from small works to those in excess of £1m.
-This will include work in the building, civil engineering and marine structures sectors.
-Reading and understanding client requirements and producing a logical tender / quotation make up.
-Carrying out own review prior to presentation to ensure all items are priced and there are no errors.

The Candidate
The successful candidate will have experience in an Estimator or Pre-Construction cost management role with experience of concrete repairs and experience in civil engineering or structures estimating.

You will be fully conversant with MS Excel, Word and Project, to an intermediate level and have experience or knowledge of specialist work including structural strengthening using carbon fibre and corrosion control using cathodic protection.

An estimating or relevant commercial construction qualification is helpful but time served applicants considered.
