This large, well established dry lining, cladding, render and interior fit out subcontractor based in the Rotherham area are looking for an Estimator due to expansion of their successful team.
Reporting to the Sales and Estimating Manager the workload for the Drylining Estimator will be on a project by project basis valued from £500k-£10 million within the commercial, residential, education and healthcare markets.
You will be responsible for:
-Preparing and estimating dry lining, sfs and render projects
-Ensuring finances and design briefs are met at all times.
-Producing tender and quotation proposals and financial and supporting descriptive information (including building up rates to include labour and material costs)
-Managing and reviewing the tender and quotation process.
-Pro-actively following up all tenders and turning into sales
-Attending client meetings to present the tender
The role would be ideal for an experienced sub contract estimator preferably from within the dry wall / dry lining industry candidates from a main contractor background will be considered.
You must be an excellent and proactive communicator and be the interface between the prospective client, the business and all relevant suppliers.
You must have the ability to read and understand drawings, specifications and tender documentation.
Knowledge of OST and conquest estimating software is beneficial but not essential. Pricing and estimating experience is key
They were formed over 20 years ago and have a full order book of projects for the next three years. They are part of a larger group and focus on varied bespoke and bulk dry wall lining and fit out projects and work within the commercial and residential market, including hotels, retail and residential developments.
