Estimator (Interior Fit Out)
c. £35k + company car + bonus 15%
I am looking for an experienced Estimator to join a large well established Interior Fit Out specialist based in the Rotherham area.
Reporting to the Sales and Estimating Manager as a Drywall Estimator, you workload will be on a project by project basis.
Specifically you will be tasked with both the management of existing projects – to ensure opportunities are being developed and maximised on an on-going basis and new business opportunities.
In this area your remit will include responsibility for preparing and estimating each element of the drywall and dry lining project, ensuring that finance and design briefs are met at all times.
Naturally this will mean you producing tender and quotation proposals along with relevant financial and supporting descriptive information (including building up rates to include labour and material costs) and pro-actively follow up these tenders and turn them into sales. This will include the requirement to attend client meetings to present the tender.
The role would be ideal for an experienced sub contract estimator preferably from within the dry wall / dry lining industry but they will also consider candidates from a main contractor background. Either way you will be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of financials for projects with a value up to £5,000,000
You must be an excellent and proactive communicator and be adept at being the interface between the prospective client, the business and all relevant suppliers. You must also have the ability to read and understand drawings, specifications and tender documentation.
The company were formed over 20 years ago and has a full order book of projects for the next 3 years. They are part of a larger group and focus on varied bespoke and bulk dry wall lining and fit out projects and work within the commercial and residential market, including hotels, retail and residential developments.
