This Large established external envelope and architectural glazing Manufacturer/Installation organisation seek an Estimator- to work from their East Midlands division.

The Role:
Reporting to the Commercial Manager as an Estimator, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely estimates across a broad range of projects.
-You will support the company to maximise sales opportunities, by managing flow of customer enquiries, ensuring an effective and timely response to customer queries and promoting excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
-Manage the flow of sales enquiries.
-View building plans and prepare estimates.
-Liaise with clients/Suppliers in the compiling of Tenders/Quotes/Variations.
-Prepare quotes and documentation for submissions.
-Timely and accurate costing of submissions.
-Ensure completed quotes comply with specification and design briefs.
-All facets of internal sales including phone, email and walk in enquiries, following up and closing internal sales.
-Work closely with team members to ensure quotas and deadlines are achieved.
-Client relationship building.

The Candidate:
– This is the ideal role for an experienced estimator, preferably from within the architectural glazing, fabrication or aluminium sector (but not essential).

As an Estimator, you will have experience in excel and word, and working with an estimating software package would be advantageous.
– You will have estimating experience, preferably in the architectural window, door and glazing/glass industry.
-You will have the ability to read and interpret building plans/engineering drawings
-You will have the ability to measure and quality take offs, and have ability to tender multiple projects simultaneously.
-You will have good communication skills and problem solving skills.
-You will be self-motivated with excellent time management skills.
-You will be team focus and sales orientated.
Knowledge of the building industry and fenestration industry is desirable, but training would be given to the right candidate.
You may have worked as an Estimator or QS,Commercial Manager or Sales Estimator.
