Executive Assistant (Maternity Cover Contract until December 2016)
Based in Reading
Salary: £24,000 – £28,000 + Excellent Benefits

One of the UK’s leading independent professional services companies is currently looking to recruit an accomplished Executive Assistant on a maternity cover contract until December 2016 at their Reading office. You would be responsible for providing an excellent standard of organisational, secretarial and administrative support to the Tax Department, ensuring that all Partners, Directors and Managers receive a high quality and comprehensive service at all times.

Key responsibilities will include extensive diary management, coordinating overseas travel arrangements, plus organising international conferences; typing up and circulating minutes from internal meetings, as well as typing up correspondence, reports, draft letters, presentations and proposals; managing all communications, monitoring emails, post and calls. You will also be expected to handle other ad-hoc administrative and project support tasks as and when required, as well as overseeing the work of other members in the Administration Team.

The ideal candidate for the role will be a flexible and proactive Executive / Personal Assistant with significant experience working within a busy and high pressure corporate environment. Experience of providing senior secretarial support on a team basis is essential. A background within a professional services or accountancy environment would be advantageous, but is not essential.

You will be a well organised administrator with excellent typing skills. You must be a self-motivated and assertive individual, able to work without close supervision when necessary, with excellent multi-tasking ability as well as a keen eye for detail. A good level of IT literacy will also be required, with particular MS Office competency (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Strong PowerPoint skills are essential for this role.
