A high-growth global healthcare company is currently looking for Facilities & Equipment Officer to join their UK headquarters in Abingdon, Oxfordshire.

The Role
As Facilities & Equipment Officer you would play a key role as part of the Facilities, Utilities & Equipment Team, taking responsibility for the maintenance of the laboratories and related facilities as well as overseeing routine maintenance of building and laboratory related equipment to ensure continual compliance is maintained. Tasks will include…
– Ensure all routine equipment and working environment checks are performed
– Manage and track all appropriate documentation, including breakdown and maintenance reports, training reports etc
– Scanning, uploading and filing records with info on equipment, servicing and repair
– Coordinate equipment and Facilities service contracts with related suppliers

The Candidate
– Previous experience working in facilities or health and safety, ideally within a lab or engineering environment
– Familiarity with Quality System concepts and requirements including GMP and ISO systems.
– Good IT skills, knowledge of Windows and Office bases applications; Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
– Ability to organise and prioritise a varied workload, good attention to detail
– Good manual dexterity and experience in repairing general equipment.
– Strong communication skills, written and verbal
