Due to expansion, our client is looking for a field based Business Development Manager to work across the North West area promoting managed IT services into education.
We’re looking for an enthusiastic Business Development manager to sell managed IT services into education on behalf of a well-established company based in the North West.
In the role, the Business Development Manager will be responsible for growing this area and potentially expand to other areas of the UK. You will be expected to produce 100% new business and continually endorse the company’s fantastic reputation.
The perfect candidate for the Business Development Manager position will have the following qualities and experience:
- A strong & knowledgeable background within the Education Sector
- A proven track record of hitting set targets/KPI’s
- History in selling a service
- A drive for success
- Familiarity of technology.
You will possess a positive, professional way of thinking, as well as being creative and always thinking of ways to improve the service you offer. You will be consultative, organised, empathetic and have an adaptable personality to ensure you can offer the best service to every client you are dealing with.
Based in Stockport, the company was established in 2000. The company turned over £2.5million last year and are aiming to produce even more this year due to rapid growth and expansion.

The basic salary for the Business Development Manager is within a range of £25,000 – £27,000 dependant on experience, plus an OTE of £50,000 per year.
