Due to growth, my client is seeking a Sales Account Manager to cover a South East Territory (Kent, Berks, Gloucester, Buckinghamshire and surround areas) and take responsibility for all their sales related enquiries and generate new business from an existing network of Builders Merchants.
We are looking for an enthusiastic Sales Account Manager to take responsibility of the South East of England.
In the role, the Sales Account Manager will be responsible for managing a base of major Builder Merchants already won by the business, and your role will be to establish these accounts by introducing the company’s products and services in to the merchants other branches. You will have full autonomy on how you manage your own diary.
The successful candidate for the Sales Account Manager role will:
- Have a minimum of two years’ experience in business to business sales
- Be an excellent communicator verbally and written
- Have tenacity and a “can do” attitude
- Have a background in Construction sales would be a benefit but not essential
This role may be suitable for you if you have a background in any of the following: Field Sales, Business Development Manager, Sales Executive, Area Sales Manager, Sales Manager, industrial Sales, Construction Sales.
The basic salary for the Sales Account Manager role is up to £28,000 with a salary review each quarter based on performance. In addition the company offers a Company Car, Mobile Phone and Laptop. Additional benefits including flexible working hours (inside the hours of 7.30am – 5.00pm) statutory pension, 21 Days holiday plus bank holidays. This is a really exciting time to join the business.
