A great opportunity has come available for two Field Care Supervisors to work for a well-established domiciliary care provider due to the growth within the Southampton area.
As a Field Care Supervisor, you will work in conjunction with and report to the Care Manager / Assistant Manager. Your remit is to ensure that a high quality of care is delivered to adults and children with learning disabilities in their own home. This role will involve working Monday to Friday with rota’d weekends and on-call.
Your main duties will be:
* To co-ordinate and supervise a group of staff and resources
* To conduct spot checks and supervisions
* To ensure the promotion of independence and individual rights of service users
* To provide supervision and support to front line staff
* To monitor and audit information regarding staff and service users
* To undertake complex environmental risk assessments and contribute to the moving and handling assessments process
The successful person for this Field Care Supervisor role must have a passion working within the health and social care sector, within a domiciliary setting and ideally you will have an NVQ Level 3, or willing to undertake this qualification. It is essential that you have a full UK Driving and access to your own vehicle. This role would suit someone that is currently working as a Team Leader or Senior Carer ready for that step. Support and training will be given.
