Field Care Supervisor
Circa of £18k (plus on-call enhancement)
Full Time (40 hours)
We have a brand new role working with a locally based domiciliary care provider within the Dorchester area. You will work in conjunction with and report to the Domiciliary Care Manager / Assistant Manager. Your responsibility is to ensure high quality care for adults and children with learning disabilities. You will work as part of an established team and ideally have your NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Health and Social Care, or willing to undertake this qualification. This role will involve working Monday to Friday and you must also be flexible to work weekends along with taking part in the on call rota.
* To co-ordinate and supervise a group of staff and resources
* To ensure the promotion of independence and individual rights of the service users
* To provide supervision and support to front line staff
* To monitor and audit information regarding staff and service users
* To undertake complex environmental risk assessments and contribute to the moving and handling assessments process
The successful person for this role must have a passion working within the health and social care sector within adult services in a domiciliary setting. Ideally NVQ Level 3 with good computer skills. This would suit someone that is currently working as a Team Leader or Senior Carer. You must be able to drive and have your own vehicle for this position
This well-established company have 15 years’ experience dealing with domiciliary care around the Dorchester and surrounding areas. Our client also specialises in acquired brain injury and respite care, offering a person centred approach to their service users. They already have a well-established team and due to the growth within the business they are looking for an additional person.
