Field Care Supervisor
Salary £15,000 – £17,000
We have an exciting opportunity for a Field Care Supervisor to join an expanding team based in Milton Keynes. The role is with based in a busy care giving team and offers excellent support and development opportunities.
The role based in a community setting that offers care to service users within their own homes as well as a respite service for carers. The main purpose of the role is to oversee the care team and ensure that they deliver a high quality and person centred service.
There are many duties involved in the role of a Field Care Supervisor including:
• Assist the manager to supervise Care Support Workers
• Assist with inductions
• Identification of training needs
• Spot checks on Carers and feeding back findings to the manager
• Hold team meetings to discuss new clients, changing client needs, practice issues and to disseminate good care practice
• Coordinate service delivery e.g. bath buddies and care equipment to carers
You will have experience of the care sector and supervision of care staff along with good communication and administration skills. You will have the ability to devise and implement care plans and agree service delivery. You must be able to work well under pressure and to work efficiently as part of a team. You will also be required to carry out some care duties.
The role is based in a charitable organisation that provides a range of care services to adults and children in community and home based settings. They support service users with a range of needs including learning disabilities, physical disabilities, dementia and end of life care.
