I am looking for an experienced Field Service Engineer to join one of the UK’s leading manufacturers of water processing plant & equipment.
Whilst they have established themselves as a major player, they still retain a ‘family feel’ and so treat you as a colleague, not a number.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will base yourself from home and cover a territory spanning Gloucestershire, Worcestershire and Staffordshire.
Your customer base will be an eclectic mix of manufacturing plants in the food, drink, healthcare & pharma sectors with whom you will be tasked with both the build and install along with the service too.
You will plan your own workload, manage your own stock levels and basically run your area as though it were your own business.
The ideal Field Service Engineer will have a background in installation / maintenance within a manufacturing plant.
This will need to include some time spent working with water treatment equipment – such as softening & purification systems, deionisation plant or reverse osmosis technology.
You will need to be capable of working remotely, responsibly and flexibly as part of the business needs. This will include a willingness to prioritise and plan effectively, work accurately and efficiently and learn from your experiences.
A logical mind with effective problem-solving skills would be advantageous too.
If this sounds like you, and a new challenge is required in your career, then I would encourage you to apply.
On offer is a base salary around the £30k mark, overtime if required, a company vehicle, up to 33 days holiday and all the kit you need.
This role may be suitable for you if you have a background as any of the following: Maintenance Engineer, Multi-Skilled Engineer, Engineering Team Leader, Bakery Engineer, Maintenance Electrician, Electrical Engineer, Plant Maintenance, Site Electrician, Electrical Technician, Electrical Maintenance Engineer, Mechanical Engineer.
We are acting as a Recruitment Consultancy for this role.
