Finance Administrator – 12 Month Contract
Based in Preston

As one of the UK’s leading independent professional services companies we are currently looking to recruit a Finance Administrator on a 12 month fixed term contract at our Preston office. The role would suit a well-organised and methodical individual with experience providing accounting support in a previous high volume finance role and looking for an opportunity to join an industry leading business.
Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, you would provide statutory accounts and tax assistance. Work will include…
o Running reports and maintaining accounting records
o Posting journals to the accounting system
o Preparing monthly bank reconciliations
o Data analysis
The ideal candidate will have experience providing support in a busy and fast-paced accounting / finance environment.
You will be a well organised and methodical individual, able to multitask and prioritise a workload effectively, with strong numerical skills and excellent attention to detail. Strong IT skills will be required with a good working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word), as will good interpersonal skills and the ability to liaise with people at all levels.
With almost 3500 partners and staff across 35 offices generating a fee income of over £300 million, you would be joining one of the 3 principal mid-market accountancy firms at a particularly exciting time.
