One of the UK’s leading independent professional services companies is currently looking to recruit an intelligent and well-organised Finance Administrator at their Preston office. As part of a high volume Finance function, you would be tasked with providing timely, efficient and accurate support to the team, delivering value by providing a consistently high standard of work.
Your role would involve preparing bank reconciliations and reports on client money, typing and checking statutory accounts, collating audit information, plus any other administrative tasks regarding statutory accounts and tax matters as and when required, including opening, logging and distributing post on a daily basis, as well as photocopying, scanning and filing documents.
The ideal candidate will have experience providing support in a busy and fast-paced accounting / finance environment. You will be a well organised and methodical individual, able to multitask and prioritise a workload effectively, with strong numerical skills and excellent attention to detail. Strong IT skills will be required with a good working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word), as will good interpersonal skills and the ability to liaise with people at all levels.
