Ultimately you will be tasked with ensuring all incoming stock is received, rigorously checked and booked in. You’ll report to the Quality Manager at the company’s Coleshill HQ and will be responsible for the following:
– Safe handling by all parties on the goods receiving side of things, assisting with unloading/unpacking, identifying discrepancies at any stage of the process
– Details quality inspections of the relevant supplier paperwork prior to booking in
– Segregating all non-conforming items and reporting back to the relevant supplier
The warehouse is a dynamic, fast-paced environment where you will be working towards set targets. The role is physically demanding so you must be comfortable working on your feet all day, unloading and unpacking goods.
What experience do I need?
My client wants someone who’s got experience of working within the goods-in side of a business, ideally with experience of the aviation / aerospace sector but as long as your current role requires you to have a high attention to detail then you will be considered. There may be an opportunity to progress in this role so you will have a passion for continuous improvement, able to motivate a team and lead by example.
In addition, it’s essential that you possess the following:
– An FLT licence
– Strong numeracy & literacy skills

What can I earn?
This Goods In Operative position offers an attractive starting salary of c. £21,500 per annum for the perfect candidate. You also have an opportunity to earn a quarterly performance related bonus that equates to an additional circa 10% of your salary.
