The Role
The company house the only national TB testing laboratory exclusively dedicated to performing the T-SPOT.TB test. You would play a key role as part of the diagnostic testing service provided to UK clinical services as well as participate in ground-breaking research including collaboration with vaccine development companies.

As mentioned above there are several opportunities across the Laboratory, Production and ODL Teams, with a particular focus on testing and contributing to the maintenance of the quality of products. You could play a role in assisting in the diagnosis of SARS-CoV-2 antibodies, with one of the roles the company are looking to fill being responsible for conducting the routine testing service which aids UK based laboratories and clinicians in COVID diagnosis.

The Candidate
This is a great opportunity for an aspiring scientist to develop an understanding of the diagnostic and pharmaceutical industries. A good understanding of cell culture and cellular biology techniques would be an advantage, as would previous experience working in a GMP laboratory. BSc or equivalent in a life sciences / research and development discipline will be required.

You will be an energetic and enthusiastic individual with a high standard of numeracy and literacy, able to work well under pressure, alone and as part of a team. A high standard of IT competency will also be required.
