I am representing a client based in the East Midlands who are looking for a Head of Sales to lead the company’s sales team as well as be the face of the business for existing and new clients.
As a Head of Sales you will be responsible for managing a base of small and medium existing customers (65% existing and 35% new business) whilst managing an internal sales function.
You will be required to motivate and lead the team in order for them to hit sales targets and KPI’s whilst also being self-motivated and focused on generating business through client meetings covering on a national basis.
The successful candidate for the Head of Sales role will:
- Ideally have experience of selling in to Food Suppliers
- Be commercially aware and have an understanding of costings and margins
- Have a solid managerial background with the ability to motivate and lead a team
- Be highly motivated and driven to earn money
The basic salary for the Head of Sales role will be up to £50,000 plus £5,000 Car Allowance. You will also receive an additional £30,000 OTE with a Mobile Phone, Laptop, 25 days Holiday plus Bank Holidays and Government pension.
