As a result of recent expansion, a civil engineering concrete repairs contractor seeks to recruit a Health and Safety Environment Advisor to support its teams in Southern England and South Wales.
Your role as Health and Safety Environment Advisor will be home based with visits to sites across the region in support of offices in Bristol,Bath,Surrey and South London.
Your day to day duties to include:
-Routine site inspections and coaching operatives and management based on findings
-Assist in creation of safe systems of work
-Toolbox talk training sessions including asbestos awareness
-Risk assessments including noise and HAVS
-Liason with HSE and clients
-Maintain face fit testing records according to schedule
-Create a regional and month health and safety and environmental report
The successful candidate will have experience in a Health and Safety Environment Advisor role or similar. They may have experience working for a company with concrete repairs, or experience in civil engineering or a structures construction environment.
You will be fully conversant with all health and safety and environmental procedures and be qualified with NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent.
You will have a full UK Driving License due to location of the sites and may have a CMIOSH,NEBOSH Construction certificate or be a CSCS cardholder.
