A long established Flooring sub-contractor (£50m turnover) based in London seeks a new Health and Safety Manager join a well-established organisation, offering an autonomous role in supportive working environment based in London.
As Health and Safety Manager you will be responsible for the Health and Safety for the Flooring and Tiling construction sub-contracting business .
The Construction Health & Safety Manager, ensures that flooring and tiling systems are fitted safely by working closely with main contractors to achieve the best Health & Safety results on site.
-Responsible for site awareness of health and safety issues
-Production of method statements
-Produce COSSH and risk assessments
-Conveying important information to on-site operatives, ensuring that all procedures are strictly adhered to and recorded.
Make sure installers confirm that they are wearing PPE.
Candidates will have experience of working in a Health and Safety Manager role previously for a similar tiling or flooring sub-contractor, decorating or construction fit-out/refurbishment company.
Must have health and safety experience and qualifications including NEBOSH Diploma in Health and Safety or Construction Safety or a member of IOSH
The company are a large Fast track refurbishment construction and fit-out retail subcontractor who are part of a larger group with a turn-over of £50million. The business operate a flooring and tiling division, as well as Building/Refurbishment and Property Company. They service the fast track retail and fit out sector.
