Health, Safety and CDM Consultant
Up to £45,000 per annum, car, mileage allowance, pension
I am looking for a health, safety and CDM consultant for a leading multi-disciplined construction and property consultancy based in Sidcup.
-Assist clients and principal designers during and after the impending changes to the CDM 2015 regulations and develop a long lasting role
-Assist and support the manager of health, safety and CDM along with the rest of the team, as required.
-Assist and support the health, safety and CDM manger in the preparation of expressions of interest and responses to PQQ’s and fee bids in respect of health, safety & CDM commissions
Ideally the successful candidate will meet the criteria for competence as defined in the ACOPs to the present 2007 CDM regulations
They will possess demonstrable knowledge and experience of construction and health and safety to be able to identify safe systems of work for construction, operation and maintenance
They will be an experienced user of industry standard office software
Hold a clean driving licence
They wll be professionally qualified at technician, incorporated and/or chartered level and maintain a membership of a professional/construction and health and safety institution
They will be able to evidence undertaking of continuing professional development (CPD) and maintenance of skills in construction and health and safety
They will hold registered membership (RMaPS) of the Association for Project Safety (or equivalent) or can attain within six months of joining the Group
Preferably they will hold a health and safety qualification, NEBOSH Construction/General Certificate level as a minimum.
Previous design experience would be beneficial
A well-established and successful multi-disciplined construction and property consultancy who provide services to the UK building and construction industry.
They cover chartered building and quantity surveying, project management, architecture and master planning, civil and structural engineering, mechanical and electrical engineering, sustainability and health and safety.
