One of the UK’s leading integrated waste management companies is looking to recruit an experienced Procurement Manager at their in Edmonton site in North London. You would be tasked with developing innovative ways to build and maintain an efficient recruitment strategy, enhance the employer brand, and find the very best people. You will also be responsible for looking after the full employee life cycle, including job offers, contracts, induction, benefit and reward, training and development and occupational health. The role will also entail dealing with conflict, discipline and change in a unionised environment so you will need to be robust, but friendly, in character and have the capability to handle whatever gets thrown at you in a calm and professional manner.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR generalist stimulated by exciting HR challenges. You will have experience working in a generalist HR role in a busy HR environment, and will either be CIPD qualified or currently studying towards the full qualification. Experience training and coaching line managers and handling conflict resolution is essential, while good knowledge of current employment laws and procedures will also be required.
You will be an intelligent individual, well organised and hard-working, with a flexible and proactive approach plus excellent problem solving skills. You will have strong interpersonal and communication skills, and a proven ability to build relationships at many levels.
