One of the UK’s leading independent professional services companies is currently recruiting for an experienced and confident HR Advisor at their London office. As an integral part of the HR department and working closely with a team of accomplished HR Advisors, your role would entail delivering an efficient, reliable and professional HR service across a number of departments within the London office.
Key responsibilities will include assisting with experienced hire and graduate recruitment, monitoring HR policies and procedures and ensuring they are adhered to across the office, plus acting as the first point of contact for Partners, Directors and Managers seeking advice, guidance and support on performance issues and grievances.
You will also oversee the paternity/maternity process, play an important role overseeing induction and exit procedures, manage the annual salary review process, plus liaise with payroll and resolve any complex queries that arise.
Reporting will also form a large part of your role, you would be expected to produce regular reports for the Regional HR Manager as well as Partners and Managers on key HR topics such as absence trends, recruitment sources, turnover, retention etc. As a flexible HR professional you will also be expected to pick up tasks for other departments on occasion and work as a partnership covering responsibilities.
The ideal candidate for the role will be CIPD qualified and have experience working in a generalist HR role in a busy HR environment (ideally professional or financial services). Experience investigating disciplinaries and grievances and conducting redundancies and general consultations will be required, while good knowledge of current employment laws and procedures will be necessary as well.
You will be an intelligent individual, well organised and hard-working, with a flexible and proactive approach plus excellent problem solving skills. You will have strong interpersonal and communication skills, and a proven ability to build relationships at many levels.
