We’re looking for a talented HR Business Partner to work for our client, an operationally focussed global logistics/F&B business that has undergone significant transformation.
They want to recruit an experienced and confident HR generalist who is a highly visible true Business Partner, used to operating at fast pace within a demanding organisation with lean structures in place. You should have a thorough understanding of employment law, reward and benefits, learning and development, recruitment, advising and coaching colleagues on complex employee relations matters. A background working within a multi-site environment would be ideal.
Applications from across the Midlands and the North West will be considered, this role is largely home-based with extensive travel (visibility is key!)
Reporting to the Head of HR and working alongside divisional management you would be tasked with delivering generalist HR services, including employee relations case management, coaching support, running HR Surgeries, advising on Recruitment & L&D matters, guidance on formal and informal people matters plus other Project Work and period reporting. This HR department is in the midst of re-establishing the team, putting best practice in place and formalising processes so whilst operating under a degree of chaos, you should also be highly organised with a focus on implementing positive change.
You would connect with the business management and leadership populations to communicate the HR agenda and support delivery.
You would also be expected to support the annual cycles of HR activity, providing guidance and looking for opportunities for continuous improvement.
The ideal candidate for this HR Business Partner role will probably be degree educated or CIPD level 7qualified with experience of providing a high standard of HR support across a multi-site environment (circa 400 plus employees). You must be able to demonstrate knowledge across various disciplines, including employee relations, organisational development and design, people analytics, reward, coaching and mentoring, recruitment and learning and development.
In addition, it’s essential that you possess the following:
– Strong project management skillset and approach, able to work as part of a team and lead initiatives
– Ability to understand data to support business insight and understanding
– Strong communication skills, able to influence managers and leaders and hold challenging conversations
– A positive attitude with high level of emotional intelligence and empathy
– A true Business Partner who relishes supporting the Business
– Experience of working within a PLC/ venture capitalist environment highly beneficial
Basic salary: Offering an excellent package of between £50,000 – £60,000, plus benefits, bonus, company car allowance and private healthcare.
