I am currently looking for an experienced HR Officer to work for a highly reputable employer within the social care sector who specialise in supported living and day care services
for people with learning disabilities,mental health and complex needs.
Responsible for fielding recruitment related queries from both internal and external sources
Manage transactional HR activities: monthly payroll processing, administration of employee full-life cycle, performance appraisals and ad hoc annual events.
Issuing employment contracts, references and letters any amendments
Maintain accurate HR database to produce monthly management reports (headcount reconciliation, sickness reports etc.)
Manage probationary review and annual review process to ensure procedure is carried out timely and to a high standard
Developing and implementing policies, documents, handbooks and processes, according to business needs
Co-ordinate training and development requirements and source appropriate training.
Challenge administrative processes as appropriate and implement more effective, creative solutions.
Providing HR advice to colleagues and potential employees.
Qualification in HR
Excellent MS office skills
A proven track record of building and developing effective working relationships
Excellent communication – both verbal and written – skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Self-motivated and pro-active in seeking out answers
• Knowledge of payroll software, e.g. Payroll manager
• Available to work flexibly
• A non-judgmental way of working
