HR & Recruitment Manager

A Midlands-based integrated communications agency is currently looking to recruit a high calibre HR & Recruitment Manager. Reporting to and working closely with the firm’s MD, this is an exciting opportunity for an accomplished HR professional to play an important role as part of a progressive, visionary and award winning agency.
You would be tasked with planning, developing and implementing employee relations and HR policies, programs and practices, including the delivery of a robust recruitment and selection process.
Responsibilities will include regularly reviewing the effectiveness of HR and recruitment processes, project managing the delivery of key HR initiatives, plus working in partnership with line managers to provide advice, develop recruitment practices, establish individual objectives and identify training needs. This is a key role in helping facilitate the achievement of business objectives and driving forward organisational performance.
The ideal candidate for the role will be an influential HR professional, CIPD qualified with significant experience providing a first-class HR and recruitment service within firms of c.100+ employees. You must be able to demonstrate up to date knowledge of employment law and a thorough understanding of employment issues including absence management, disciplinary and grievances etc, plus experience training and coaching line managers.
You will be an intelligent individual, well organised and hard-working, with a flexible, proactive and diplomatic approach plus excellent problem solving skills. You will have strong interpersonal and communication skills, and a proven ability to build relationships at many levels.
