Job Title: Implementation Consultant – Supply Chain Software
Sector: Demand Planning and Forecasting Software
Location: West Midlands with European Travel
Salary: £40,000 to £45,000

This an excellent and very rare opportunity either for an experienced software consultant or for someone that has been a key part of a team implementing large Supply Chain Software with the desire to break into a consulting role to join a major Blue Chip Software company that offers excellent training and opportunities for travel.
Initially there will be an extensive training period which will involve learning their demand planning and forecasting software as well as shadowing their existing consultants once this has been completed.
Once you are up and running the role will involve extensive travel to customer sites based mainly in the UK and also in Europe enabling their customers to successfully implement their demand and supply chain planning software into sectors such as food and beverage, retail, pharmaceutical, distribution and manufacturing.
Their software covers, master planning, distribution planning, production planning, procurement planning, demand planning and scheduling and you will be trained both in the UK and France on the software.
Key experience required:
Ideally you will have had some consulting experience however we are also able to consider commercially aware candidates that have experience of working with and ideally have been involved with implementing supply chain software. You will be looking for a role that will use your expertise to work with companies to implement and configure our client’s specialist supply chain software.
You will have worked on the implementation of a large scale multi-site Supply Chain, Forecasting, Demand Planning or Warehouse Management software project as a super-user or as a key member of the configuration team.
Once you are fully trained you will be working on client sites for three to four days per week so you must be flexible and willing to travel.
This is an excellent opportunity for either an experienced consultant to work with a leading and growing Global organisation in the supply chain field or for an experienced internal specialist to break into a consulting role with a company where the average length of employment is 10 years plus.
You could currently be working as an Implementation Consultant, Demand Planner, Supply Chain Manager, Supply Chain Analyst, Demand Manager, Forecasting Manager or Supply Chain Consultant.
