Internal Sales Executive
Based in Leeds
Salary up to £24,000 pro rata + benefits

A global manufacturing firm are seeking an Internal Sales Executive at their Leeds office, part-time 3 days per week. You will be joining a well-established business, contacting clients on the company database proactively identifying business and securing sales opportunities.

The Role
Working closely alongside the Sales Director, you will be responsible for winning new business through intelligent, tenacious and high-volume outbound phone activity. You will be expected to research, source and identify your own business opportunities and proactively promote and sell the company’s product range, establishing rapport and gaining new business.

You will receive comprehensive and structured training that will enable you to focus on achieving leads and where appropriate you will book appointments for the field-based sales team. Initially, the role is part-time but the opportunity is there to expand the role along with the business if successful.

The Candidate
This role requires individuals who are tenacious and enjoy new business development. Ideal candidates will have a successful background in outbound sales within an Engineering Maintenance environment.
o Confident approach, a strong communicator who is confident speaking to business owners and senior management in a professional and persuasive dialogue
o Operational experience in an Industrial telesales environment, proven track record in outbound telesales
o Professional and confident manner, clarity, confidence to project products over the telephone
o Self-motivated approaching work with a mature, positive sales attitude
o Ability to consistently work towards and exceed expectations
o Tenacious, with a desire to succeed, self-motivated, ability to overcome client rejection
o Ability to organise, prioritise and manage workflow
