Due to expansion, our client is looking for an Internal Sales Executive to sell fine wine collections to collectors that are looking to expand their portfolio.

The Role

We’re looking for an enthusiastic Internal Sales Executive to sell fine wine collections into collectors on behalf of a very well established fine wine merchant based in Southampton.

In the role, the Internal Sales Executive will be responsible for growing the business. You will be expected to produce new business as well as maintaining existing business and continually endorse the company’s fantastic reputation and services that they offer.

The Candidate

The perfect candidate for the Internal Sales Executive position will have the following qualities and experience:

  • A lively & enthusiastic personality.
  • A proven track record of hitting set targets/KPI’s
  • A drive for success
  • A strong passion towards selling.
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Familiarity of the fine wine industry, however this is not vital as training is provided.

You will possess a positive but professional way of thinking. You will be competitive; hungry for success and have an adaptable personality to ensure you can offer the best service to every client you are dealing with.

The Package

The basic salary for the Internal Sales Executive is within a range of £18,000 – £22,000 dependant on experience, plus an OTE of £60,000 minimum per year. In addition to this fantastic salary, the company offer other benefits such as a pension scheme, bonuses and an incredible training scheme. This role may be suitable to you if you have a background in any of the following roles: Business Development Executive, Business Development Manager, Sales Consultant, Area Sales Manager or a Sales Executive. They would also consider a candidate that has previously worked in the Fine Wine industry with a background of selling.
