Job Title: International Strategic Partner Sales Manager

Salary: £70,000 to £80,000 plus performance related bonus
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Supply Chain Software Sales professional with experience in strategic partner development and channel management to join a very well established software company specialising in supply chain network modelling software used by a number of the world’s largest companies.
This is a newly created role to drive the future international growth of the company through increased software sales by targeted, international strategic partner companies.
Part of a major Billion Dollar group, the organisation is still relatively small but rapidly growing so you will need to be self-starting and dynamic to fit into their culture.
The objective of the role is to drive the growth of the company’s international sales through the establishment of a global network of strategic partner companies in target geographies including Germany, India, China, Japan among several other globally.
Strategic Partners would include Product Resellers, Value-Added Resellers and Partners, Sales Agents & Distributors, OEM licensors and Systems integrators.
The company has invested heavily in redeveloping its’ supply chain planning platform which includes Strategic & Tactical Supply Chain design and optimisation
You will work with the Management team to prioritise & select target international markets for Barloworld’s software solutions and identify target strategic partner companies within those selected markets
You will mobilise initial and ongoing company resources to support the successful set-up of each strategic partner and to ensure ongoing, sustainable sales growth through the strategic partner company network.
Key experience required:
You will have extensive experience of developing international strategic partner relationships for other software vendors.
We would also expect you to have experience of selling or marketing supply chain planning solutions (software or consultancy) in international markets as well as demonstrate a basic understanding of supply chain planning issues across production, logistics and inventory.
The role will ideally be based in their global software head office in the West Midlands but will require travel to prospective and existing strategic partner companies across global target geographies.
Remuneration will be a combination of basic salary commensurate with experience and performance related bonus linked to the revenue performance of the strategic partner programme.
