Job Title: Infrastructure Analyst
Salary: £30,000 to £35,000 + Benefits
I am pleased to be recruiting an exciting IT Infrastructure Analyst role for my client, a progressive and growing technology company within a very niche sector.
Working for the IT Operations team, you will be responsible for providing high quality technology-based services to support the company’s business strategy.
Based in their Leeds office (close to Leeds main train station), you will be working as part of the Network team assisting the Network Manager deliver and maintain the company’s growing IT infrastructure.
You will act as 3rd line technical escalation point, diagnosing complex infrastructure issues, finding a solution and documenting the solution for future reference and transferring knowledge to your 2nd Line colleagues and service desk team.
You will also undertake various projects as defined by the Network Manager and Head of IT, working to agreed timescales. You will help with installation and configuration of new hardware and software, making sure it is fit for purpose and ensuring all relevant documentation is completed.
You will demonstrate a good understanding of network security, ensuring that the integrity and security of the data falls in line with company policies. You will work colleagues to ensure the smooth running of existing systems.
You will already be working in IT infrastructure and used to working as an 3rd Line IT Support person.
You will have experience of working with Microsoft technologies such as Microsoft Exchange. It is preferred that you have prior experience of server virtualisation as part of the estate is virtualised using VMware.
Although not essential, it would advantageous if you have experience of desktop virtualisation technologies.
Is also considered advantageous if you have achieved or in the process of attaining relevant Microsoft accreditation such as MCSE or MCITP.
You will have excellent communication skills, able to talk with members of staff at all levels of the business as well as being a strong team player, enthusiastic and able to take on and grasp new technologies.
Located in Leeds City Centre, the role is easily commutable from local areas including, Beeston, Rothwell, Bramley, Harehills, Bradford, Morley, Pudsey, Bramley and Headingly.
You will already be working as an Infrastructure Analyst, 3rd Line IT Support or Systems Administrator.
